The Hop Horn Beam Bow

The White Wood Bow_________________________$ 450.00

(Elm, Hickory, Hackberry, Maple, Hop Hornbeam etc.) The name
‘white wood’ refers to the color of the sapwood from which these bows
are made. As with any bow wood, when made & designed properly,
these white woods will produce beautiful sweet shooting bows.
These woods are much more abundant where I live and so are a bit

easier for me to obtain.
The Bows
I make are one-of-a-kind works of art,
beautifully handcrafted with flowing lines that follow the
nature of the wood with an emphasis on efficiency.
Each bow is inscribed with it's unique name,
specs, signed & dated then sealed with a traditional
finish of linseed oil, shellac & bees wax or Tru Oil. The
bow handle is then adorned with buckskin that I skin
& brain tan myself giving it an ancient look and feel.
